Application boundary note

Do not flatten this psalm into a promise of uninterrupted material prosperity. God’s provision is real, but the text also preserves judgment and the distinction between the righteous and the wicked. Also avoid erasing the psalm’s original Israelite and Yahweh-centered setting; its universal call to praise grows out of Israel’s worship, not apart from it.
