Eyesalve is a symbolic image used in Revelation 3:18, where the risen Christ counsels the church in Laodicea to seek what they lack spiritually. Jesus exposes their self-sufficiency and calls them to receive from Him what they cannot provide for themselves, including true spiritual sight.
