Matthew 2:8

KJV: And he sent them to Bethlehem and said Go and search diligently for the young child and when ye have found bring me word again that I may come and worship him also

GK: και πέμψας αυτούς εις Βηθλεέμ είπε πορευθέντες ακριβώς εξετάσατε περί του παιδίου επάν δε εύρητε απαγγείλατέ μοι όπως καγώ ελθών προσκυνήσω αυτώ

Matthew 2:23

KJV: And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets He shall be called a Nazarene

GK: και ελθών κατώκησεν εις πόλιν λεγομένην Ναζαρέθ όπως πληρωθή το ρηθέν διά των προφητών ότι Ναζωραίος κληθήσεται

Matthew 5:16

KJV: your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven

GK: ούτω λαμψάτω το φως υμών έμπροσθεν των ανθρώπων όπως ίδωσιν υμών τα καλά έργα και δοξάσωσι τον πατέρα υμών τον εν τοις ουρανοίς

Matthew 5:45

KJV: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust

GK: όπως γένησθε υιοί του πατρός υμών του εν ουρανοίς ότι τον ήλιον αυτού ανατέλλει επί πονηρούς και αγαθούς και βρέχει επί δικαίους και αδίκους

Matthew 6:2

KJV: Therefore when thou doest alms do not sound a trumpet before thee as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets that they may have glory of men Verily I say unto you They have their reward

GK: όταν ουν ποιής ελεημοσύνην μη σαλπίσης έμπροσθέν σου ώσπερ οι υποκριταί ποιούσιν εν ταις συναγωγαίς και εν ταις ρύμαις όπως δοξασθώσιν υπό των ανθρώπων αμήν λέγω υμίν απέχουσι τον μισθόν αυτών

Matthew 6:4

KJV: That thine alms may be in secret and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly

GK: όπως η σου η ελεημοσύνη εν τω κρυπτώ και ο πατήρ σου ο βλέπων εν τω κρυπτώ αυτός αποδώσει σοι εν τω φανερώ

Matthew 6:5

KJV: And when thou prayest thou shalt not be as the hypocrites for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may be seen of men Verily I say unto you They have their reward

GK: και όταν προσεύχη ουκ έση ώσπερ οι υποκριταί ότι φιλούσιν εν ταις συναγωγαίς και εν ταις γωνίαις των πλατειών εστώτες προσεύχεσθαι όπως αν φανώσι τοις ανθρώποις αμήν λέγω υμίν ότι απέχουσι τον μισθόν αυτών

Matthew 6:16

KJV: Moreover when ye fast be not as the hypocrites of a sad countenance for they disfigure their faces that they may appear unto men to fast Verily I say unto you They have their reward

GK: όταν δε νηστεύσητε μη γίνεσθε ώσπερ οι υποκριταί σκυθρωποί αφανίζουσι γαρ τα πρόσωπα αυτών όπως φανώσι τοις ανθρώποις νηστεύοντες αμήν λέγω υμίν ότι απέχουσι τον μισθόν αυτών

Matthew 6:18

KJV: That thou appear not unto men to fast but unto thy Father which is in secret and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly

GK: όπως μη φανής τοις ανθρώποις νηστεύων αλλά τω πατρί σου τω εν τω κρυπτώ και ο πατήρ σου ο βλέπων εν τω κρυπτώ αποδώσει σοι εν τω φανερώ
