1. "beyond the ἀκμή or bloom of life, past prime" (Plato, de rep. 5, p. 460 e. ἀῥ οὖν σοι ξυνδοκει μέτριος χρόνος ἀκμῆς τά εἴκοσιν ἔτη γυανικι, ἀνδρί δέ τά τριάκοντα): Eustathius.
